Ameris Bank Names Earl Solomon President of Leon and Wakulla Counties.

Crawfordville, FL, Today Mr. John Hipp, President of Ameris Bank's Banking Group announced that Mr. Earl Solomon had been named President of all banking activities in Leon and Wakulla Counties for Ameris Bank. For the last three years, he has served as the Senior Lender for Ameris Bank in this area. Previously, he served as officer for Barnett Bank for over twenty years in Jacksonville and Tallahassee.
Hipp stated, "Earl has very deep roots and knowledge of Leon and Wakulla counties which is critical to be very successful in these markets. He grew up in Tallahassee which we feel is very valuable. This, coupled with exceptional business development and people skills, will make him a major force in that part of the state. We have multi-million dollar future investments planned for these areas and we have the highest level of confidence in Earl Solomon."
Mr. Solomon is a 1980 graduate of Florida State University and has been active in the following community groups: Past President of the Wakulla Coastal Optimist Club, President of the Wakulla Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, Board Member of the Wakulla Chamber of Commerce.
